I purchased the warranty on a refurbished laptop from ebay.
1 1/2 years later it stopped working. I filed a clain with squaretrade and within a few days I had the return label. I sent it in and withing a week I had the full purchase price refunded to my paypal account.

Can't do much better than that.

I certainly would purchase a squaretrade warranty again.

Square Trade resolved my problem promptly. I am so glad that I purchased this warranty on my computer. If I had not had this warranty, my laptop purchase would not have been reimbursed. I had the laptop for about 6 months, when it crashed. I called Square Trade and their customer service was very courteous, worked with me on what the problem may be with the laptop. The sent me a mailing label to send the laptop to them via UPS. When they determined it could not be repaired they paid my claim very fast. I will definitely do business with them again.

I purchased a Square Trade warranty for a used product. Four months later the product stopped working. Square Trade declined my claim due to "the item was damaged upon arrival". This is totally untrue, but there is no way to argue the case. Thus, the warranty was completely useless. I will never buy from Square Trade again.

The best warranty service I ever known. Not only it is affordable, what ever happen to your item under warranty is so easily serviced without hassle. I have bought their service to most of my electronics both expensive & not so expensive article. I highly recommend Square Trade Inc if you care about what you owned.

My laptop went on strike and I'm so happy I had a SquareTrade Product Care Plan. One phone call was all it took. I was asked to send the computer in, and practically right away I received notification that reimbursement had been authorized. The next day the money was in my account. Thank you SquareTrade!

I have several warranties with SquareTrade...1 claim....customer service was top notch...claim was settled within 24 hours...will keep on with SquareTrade warranties...Highly recommended by me, the consumer!

The process was fast and went smoothly. I sent my defected phone and received confirmation in every step of the way. The money was refunded to my pay pal account within days of receipt less a very minimal shipping fee and the process was easy. Square Trade Inc. kept their word and refunded me my money as promised when I purchased their insurance. Customer service assisted me every step and was very helpful and friendly. I will recommend Square Trade to my family and friends. Thank you for a hassel free transaction.

This is the second time I have had to use Square Trade warranty services on an item I purchased on ebay. Both experiences were positive, my money was returned to me when the item failed. They kept me well informed throughout the process. What more can you ask? Additionally it is much more cost effective than warranties I purchased @ Circuit City on similar items. I have recently learned I can by a Square Trade warranty on items purchased at stores so you know what I will do the next time. I have declined warranties in the past, partly due to high price, but if you buy anything electronic this is a good way to protect yourself inexpensively.

Bought a warranty about a year ago. It went out so I contacted Square Trade about it. It took less than 2 weeks to get the entire transaction took care of and to get my money. Really surprised me. From my experience they are the warranty people that I will depend on from now on.

Warranty issue handled nicely, and with good speed. Will consider using Square Trade on my next purchase. Ease of making a claim is wonderful.

I bought a used laptop from ebay and purchased square trade with the thoughts that if anything happened to it, it would be covered.  Well, I would be wrong.  Getting in touch with them was a bit of a pain, but I could live with that.  The "team" getting back with you is a pain.  I lived with both.  After they have had my "used" computer for almost a week with no word on it, I call again to check the status.  They tell me they cannot cover it because some liquid has been spilled on it.  No one is my house spilled anything on it.  But how can you argue this point?  The screen just stopped working, everything else was lighting up on the display.  So, I get my money back for the square trade, but am out money on the laptop only after a few short months.  I will not do the square trade option again. 

My ZUNE 80GB was dead. SQ TD's refund policy was GREAT! Customer service was excellent, decision on item was prompt and money return was prompt.  All in all, a very good experience.
I've come to realize that certain of life's "necessities" (especially technological) need warranties to cover repair or replacement.  Although Square Trade Online Inc. had very good ratings, I approached my return/repair request with skepticism.  I was happily impressed by the competence of all departments throughout the process, especially when I received my money promptly and without hassle.
I'm not sure how the process could have been improved-I just hope it continues at such a high level. August 25,2009

My experience was overwhelming!. Customer service was excellent!. This was absolutely a hassle free experience. I shipped my mp3 player back, they reviewed it, and refunded my money back(unrepairable). Excluding shipping charge. They kept in contact with me through email to let me know what was going on. the whole process took just about a week! WOW!.I am very, very please on how things went. I am going to look into buying warranties for my daughters notebooks. And I am now going to get another warranty for my new mp3 player that I just bought.

Simple, fast, and pleasant! is an understatement when describing transactions with Square Trade. Inexpensive rates, wonderful employees, and so EASY!!! Thanks Square Trade, will do business again soon.
