Purchased replacement battery for canon digital camera about a year ago. Battery did not hold charge well since purchase and quit altogether about a month ago.

The store refused to replace its defective product.

Yes, the warranty was expired but you'd still hope they would go the extra mile to satisfy the customer.

Disappointing....

Wow! Thank you Sterling and FedEx! I only ordered yesterday and today my order is in my hands! ...and, it's the week before Christmas! I ordered a few things from some other companies at about the same time yesterday and I'm still trying to get tracking numbers from some of them. One company's tracking page still says "processing." Sterling was fast and easy!
And, oh yes...that fast shipping was FREE!

NEVER use this so called business. Never received product. Tracking number they provided, not valid. Called and was told they would priority mail another.... never received that either. I keep being told to call back tomorrow to speak to the person that can refund/re-ship.

Sick of the run around!

I ordered some camera batteries from SterlingTek about three weeks before I needed them.

SterlingTek sent the wrong batteries. I had ten days before I needed them. I notified SterlingTek. Instead of sending the correct batteries out right away, they demanded a confirmation number from the post office. I sent them the number.

After a week nothing arrive. I again sent them a note asking where my batteries were. Then next day I got an email saying they'd just sent them out.

They waited until I pestered them. The batteries will get here too late for the intended use -- if they ever arrive and if they are the correct batteries.

Terrible response to their own mistake. I won't order from thema gain.

I bought a product from them on 03/13/2007 and they sent me a wrong item. Then:

1 - I sent the wrong item back to them;

2- They didn't send the correct product to me yet according to our agreement (today is 05/25/2007);

3 - They didn't refund my return shipping of the wrong product back to them (as promised and as it was supposed to be);

4 - They don't answer to my e-mails;

5 - And they simply don't care.

Just after several weeks they returned my last e-mail message (maybe because I said I was going to post bad feedbacks about them on the Internet?) and effectively just said they "will be happy to refund your item price" and that's it - no refund on the first shipping, no refund on the return shipping back to them and no replacements (as expected).

Too much double talk and no action. Issues still unsolved.

In short: a disastrous and bothersome experience!

Speedy delivery. Great Customer service. I was very impressed with how my order was handled. Great would shop here again. Great Prices!!!! Site was easy to figure out, very painless. Called them with a question and customer service was great. Couldn't ask for a better company with better prices. Got battery and work just as well actually better then the original Canon battery.

I have a very bad experience with SterlingTEK. I ordered a digital camera battery on Dec. 22, 2004 but have not received it until now. Their customer service does not serve customer at all. I made several calls. Some said that they would send it by next-day FedEx. But others said that I have to wait. When I tried to canceled the order, they said I can only return it after I received it, which will be never happen, I think.

I bought a CB-2LT Battery Charger. Ordering was easy, the website was simple to use. I got my order confirmation and it was followed shortly thereafter by the shipping notification complete with tracking number. My merchandise was delivered a few days later. It doesn't get better or easier!

Great Company. Great Prices would shop here again. Handled everything just right. Found website and navigation of it just fine. Had exactly what I was looking for. Couldn't ask for a better company. Did everything online didn't need to call them.

Ordered two camera batteries at an excellent price; delivery was on time. So far the batteries have performed well in my Canon PowerShot. I have been using them for about five months. (Although they are third party batteries, advertising did not mislead to make anyone think they were genuine Canon product.)

I purchase a tool from them. It advertised that MOST of their tool have one year warranty, but that tool end up not included in MOST of their tool. It actually has only 7 days warranty(they did not put it on writing...but will tell you after it broke) and it must be unused!!! that mean...it has no warranty at all. You pay and you keep it.
If you give only 7days warranty, why you put down 1 year instead?!! I call this cheating. Good luck to all of you who want to buy from them.

I bought some 3rd party camcorder batteries at SterlingTek. The batteries are great and were shipped out quickly. Will definitely shop here in the future for batteries, etc.

I bought 2 "Canon equivalent" batteries for a digital camera a few weeks ago. The product was cheap & delivered quickly. One battery took a charge fine & I have been using it in the camera , but the other battery does not accept a charge properly (charger unit never shows a complete charge). I have no problem with other batteries in the charger unit, so the unit is not the problem. I'm afraid to even try the questionable battery in my camera. The product was so cheap, it's not worth my time & money to send it back to SterlingTek, but I won't be ordering from them again. Next time I'll pay a little more and buy from a more reputable company.

I am very pleased with my transaction with Sterling Tek and the speed in which I received my item.  The items I ordered arrived in perfect condition and were very well packed.  The battery and charger for my camera worked great.  I have recommended Sterling Tek to all of my friends.

Nice product. Fast shipping. Good customer service. I'm looking forward for next business with them again. Couldn't get any better then this.

They sent me the wrong product and advised me to send it back with the cheapest possible mail since I'm from Canada.
Turned out they said they've never received it thus not honouring the refund. Since I have no proof then I'm SOL.

I sent more than 50 items to United States with regular mail before and never once the package got lost in transit.

Coincidence with sterlingtek who messed up with their inventory?

I purchased two spare batteries for my Canon S400 more than a year ago and have used them in a cyclic manner without any difficulty. They charge well and have good service life.

I am extremely pleased at the rapid shipping of the battery and charger. I received them the day after I ordered!!! The price was reasonable, as was shipping. The charger works with both my OEM batter and another 3rd party battery that I had. I have to say that I am certainly delighted at this point. I really needed the charger and just ordered the battery to have an extra, so it will be interesting to see if it lasts as long as the other two I have. (5years!) I'd do business with Sterling Tek again.
