I HAD TO FILE A POLICE REPORT!!! THIS GUY IS CRAZY!!!

Like most other people reported, when I called to confirm my order this guy (said his name was Jeffrey) really pressured me into ordering extra stuff to go with my digital camera--said I needed an additional memory card, etc. As soon as I hung up, I felt really uncomfortable and immediately called him back to cancel my order. First, he told me I owed him a 20% cancellation fee--even though my order had literally been placed only minutes earlier, and definitely had not yet been shipped. When I balked at paying a cancellation fee, he started screaming at me, saying "I have your credit card information right here, I'll post it all over the internet and ruin your life!" I asked him if he was crazy, and he replied "Don't f*#! with me, I'll f*#!ing ruin you!" I hung up and immediately called my credit card company to cancel my card. Then I filed a police report for aggravated harassment. Take my advice-- DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS CRAZY PERSON! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!

ONE BIG SCAM!

This place sucks!!!!! I keep calling because I keep getting hung up on. I never received my warranty card and every time I call they hang up on me. I'm going to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, this is rediculous. I bought my camera in January, now it's May and I still haven't received my warranty card. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! And the reviews that give this company full bars, it's probably the company themselves rating WAWA so high, no way can you be happy with this company.

UNBEATABLE PRICES-AMAZING EXPERIENCE

Sometimes finding a specific item locally is quite a challenge. I finally located the timed shutter release that I needed on the wawadigital. Not only was there an substantial savings but I received my release 3 days later (coast to coast.) Dealing with this kind of service is an additional plus when you have a vendor of this quality that you are dealing with. I will just cut through the chase next time and go directly to the wawa website to save money and time.

Don't believe the prices you see at WaWa Digital...

Don't believe the prices you see on WaWa Digital Online Store. The prices for the cameras themselves look too good to be true, and trust me they are. After ordering a digital camera from WaWa I was called by one of their "used car" customer service/salesmen the next day. After many unsuccessful attempts to upsell me on products ranging from carrying cases to warranty packages I finally got him off the phone. One week later I called their customer service department to check on my order. They asked me if my credit card had been charged? I did not know the answer at the time and they told me to check and call them back. After confirming that my credit card had not been charged I realized I was not getting the camera from WaWa. Their motive is to list cameras at a very low price and only sell them to people that buy the whole package. This company is a scam and should be reported to the Better Business Bureau.

I did a considerable amount of research on this and other e-merchants prior to my purchase and I am glad I did. I almost purchased from a different merchant, but wawadigital had a far superior rating and I am 100% SATISFIED. Great price, prompt delivery, absolutely no funny business after purchase,all warranty and rebate forms included and all accessories included. Do your homework before you buy on-line !!!!

After placing my order for a Canon A700 on the internet, I got a phone call approx. 15 mins. later. Good customer service, I thought. Even though the website stated the camera was in stock, the fellow from the store said he had to check stock. After a bit, he assures me they have it, and then goes on to push a memory card and then a battery pack. After telling him I only wanted the camera, he asked if I was aware that this was a refurbished unit? Telling him I couldn't find where it stated "Reconditioned" anywhere on the ad page, he said "Do you see where it says NEW?". Well, the ad didn't state NEW, so I laughed and told him to cancel the order, to which he said OK, and hung up. I called back to customer service an hr. later to check on my order (talked to a different fellow who was even less pleasant)and it was, in fact, canceled. At this time I ordered from another place for $20 more after first calling to check stock and camera condition. W/ all the bad press here, how can these guys remain in business?

BAIT AND SWITCH, BEWARE! Never got the camera!

BAIT AND SWITCH! Never got the camera! I have this real bad feeling that I gave my credit card and info to this company!

I purchased hundreds of items online. They had the cheapest camera price, I ordered online, and got the automated response that I must call or the order would not be processed... They tried to sell accessories - a memory card that was 100.00 MORE than I could have gotten from just about any competitor.

They don't send an email confirmation... Well I called one week later, they said the camera is not in stock, so they canceled my order right there. I am not paranoid, but they have all my information, the back #'s on my credit card.... It was not worth it, and they are a fly by night outfit, even their voicemail gives a prompt as a different store. BEWARE!

sorry to sing the same old song but...My WaWa experience was also bad. I researched product,price,and got the same stellar reviews at everyprice and shopzilla,which i now believe are fabricated. I bought a Canon 520 digital camera on may 4 2006. After making my secure online sale, which came to about $130, i got the phone call from a "time share" type salesman that talked like an auctioneer. I got talked into a card that was $70 not realizing this was expensive for a 512mb card. I got the camera within 5 business days. It wasn't sealed but had all of the components,books,and the camera looked spotless. I have had problems with the memory card with"corrupted data" and "memory card error" messages. After going to Sandisk's site , i found they dont offer a 512 ulta5 so i was sold a cheap fake. Recently, bogus charges showed up on the same credit card i used for Wawa. I am not sure if there is a link,but the card has been cancelled. Dont deal with these shady,difficult, crooks!

THE WORST on the net that I've ever experienced

I totally agree with the majority here that this is a SCAMMY, SLIMY business. They are rude, obnoxious and border-line dishonest. They do not send ANY written correspondence confirming orders nor will they tell you if they have canceled your order!!! They try to hard sell you on accessories and when you say no, they are rude and basically end up hanging up on you. I've bought COUNTLESS things off the net and I've never experienced anything like this. BEWARE of these people - there are too many other reputable places to buy items. Don't be sucked in by their low prices - more then likely, the item will suddenly be out of stock and they won't even tell you that they have canceled your order!

My shopping experience at wawadigital was very pleasant. Ease of shopping is always my number one priority...easy to use menus and product searches are great. Pricing is excellent...beats most others online stores Ive shopped...That makes me very happy. Checkout is a breeze...Shipping is super fast. All of this equals one very happy customer.

They are not the lowest, but they are competitive and I have yet to have an unhappy experience with them, and I have spent a LOT of money on camera equipment. They deliver, both product and service. Pay attention to these reviews, folks. The negative ones are there for a reason.. The other thing that no one seems to suggest here, is go to their site and read their return policies, do a "sample shopping cart" and see what it's going to cost to ship it. You may be surprised.
