Lousy Service with Wirefly

Just purchased (and returned) two Motorola RAZR phones from Wirefly, along with Cingular Service. Wirefly sent me two phones that weren't even programmed for my region of the country, so they couldn't be put onto Cingular here. Then I discovered in the paperwork they sent to me that the rebates offered were only collectible six months from now. Shocking when others offer 4-6 weeks before rebate arrives. I called Wirefly, whose real company name is Inphonic Cybersource address 1010 Wisconsin Ave. NW, Washington DC, and talked to an agent in India. I was transferred to "Customer Service" who after 15 minutes of music promptly hung up on me. This happened three more times for a total of 1 and 1/2 hours. When I finally got through to them, they tried to convince me that Cingular was wrong, then after that didn't work, offered me different phones, which I promptly refused. After several minutes of discussion I was given permission to send back their equipment.
I again learned the lesson, you get what you pay for. Here's hoping they refund my money promptly

This was the best experience with purchasing cellular service I have ever had. I was a little skeptical at first, but my mother reassured me that you guys were the best way to go. She also purchased her T-mobile phone and service from you. I really wanted a Razor, but didn't want to spend $300.00 on a phone. Luckily, I went on your site, and there it was for 69.99. I got right on it and ordered it that day. I ordered it on a Wednesday and got it that Friday. I was also thrilled that I didn't have to call Sprint to cancel my service. I received efficient notification saying that I had been approved, and when my order was on the way, and when it had arrived...it just has been on point service. Just this morning, I recommended wirefly.com to my roommate, because she also wants to leave Sprint. You guys are the best!!!!

I recommend against ordering from Wirefly. they told me that I would get the promotion DVD player and there would be paperwork in the shipment but I didn't get anything. after 3 emails without any responses, I called their customer service and went nowhere. they basically told me that I was lying. what kind of customer service is that?? DON'T ORDER FROM HERE, THEY LIE ABOUT THEIR PROMOTIONS!

Wirefly.com also does business as cellularchoices.com.
Do not deal with this company. They have very attractive rebate offers, that turn out to have byzantine rules and ultimately get rejected (even when followed scrupulously).
There is virtually no way to contact this company after the sale.
This is a rip-off company!

I purchased a T-Mobile contract through them. (I chose T-Mobile mostly due to above-average customer service ratings on other sites.) Wirefly offered a better free phone selection
than if I ordered direct from T-Mobile. My order was delivered as expected. Wirefly emailed me approximately daily with an order status report.

MUCH better than anticipated

I felt compelled to write a review here because of all the negative reviews I saw on this site. I ordered a Motorola Razr phone and Cingular service from Wirefly. The phone was only $69.99 ($149 from Cingular) with a $70 rebate so essentially the phone could turn out to be free. I placed the order on the 24th and received the phone on the 25th. It works wonderfully. They also gave me a free Motorola Bluetooth headset. The paperwork for my rebate WAS INCLUDED in my packaging. I have no complaints so far. Alot of people said that you will never receive a rebate from wirefly, even if that is the case I still saved $80 on the cost of the phone alone.

The service at Wirefly was unbelievable. Not only was my order at my door the day after I ordered it, but the shipping was free!! This is by far the best online shopping experience I have ever had. I had a question about porting my number to the new carrier and the guy that I spoke with at wirefly was very helpful and courteous. I would 100% DEFINITELY order from them again and have already reccommended them to my friends.

I never got my rebate. They stretched the dispute out over six months, so I could not dispute the charge. The paperwork is obtuse and complicated. My transgression was limited to the fine fine print. This experience cost me $250.00.

I will never shop or recommend anyone buying phones from Wirefly. When they first shipped my phone, the phone was stolen from the box(i870). When I contacted them, they told me they weren't responsible and to contact them within 2-3 days. I would call and email almost every other day but they kept giving me the run-around. I have never dealt with such an unprofessional company. I notified Nextel and they told me that they(Wirefly) were activating the cell phone number without my consent. They also charged my credit card without my consent for another phone. After numerous e-mails(18) and many stressful phones calls, they finally gave me answers after i threatned to call the news and the Better Business Bureau. I feel it is unecessary to go through all the trouble but i finally got my phone after a month. I also hope they credit me for that phone that i never received. They are rip offs. BUYER BEWARE

Representatives were polite, informative, and very helpful. Although, one phone was defective, the second was, according to Motorola, made for foreign countries, the third works like a charm. All through the returns process, Wirefly was very prompt and courteous in their assistance. Great service!

The phones we ordered came in very quick time. The activation of service, including a transfer from US Cellular was very slow (14 days) but billing from Verizon was very quick and caused us to pay for two services. Also, a reason I chose Verizon was the 30 day trial period which was half spent getting activated. VERY FRUSTRATING!!
