Pros: Excellent photo quality prints without waiting forever. Cons: It whines.
Well, the most important thing about a printer is the print quality. I have yet to use the highest resolution setting, and yet the output I see is better than printers 3 to 4 times the price. It is quick and the images are excellent. As with all...

Pros: Printing quality, USB and serial connectors, ink meter, borderless prints while it lasts. Cons: Thirsty of ink, expensive operation, cheap funeral
I bought it to replace a HP 650C printer. I got improvement in the photo prints but with some quality loose in writing documents.
It was easy to connect by USB or serial port and there was nothing to set in your computer. Just installed the...

Pros: Worked well initially Cons: noisy, poor print quality, poor tech support, goes through ink like water
Though it has always been noisy, slow and reminiscent of an old washing machine that shakes everything around it during its spin cycle, I was not entirely unhappy with this printer when I first bought it. In all fairness, I did print out at least 5...

Pros: DEEP, BOLD, VIVID, DETAILED PHOTOS Cons: Text is not the highest level, though is satisfactory
I'm a photographer, and I love good prints (like everyone), and this printer is unsurpassed in anything under $100, and better than an HP or Lexmark at photos at any price. Really. You just need to use high quality paper (I use Epson brand, which is no mo ...

Pros: Print quality - when it works. Cons: Clogs, smears, expensive ink wasted on cleaning.
It clogs, it smears, it won't print well on generics and ink is really expensive. I am going through my second printer and going to RMA it soon. Stay away from those low-end models. I tried everything in the world to prevent it from clogging - did not ...

Pros: Prints excellent photo quality pictures. Cons: It runs out of ink fairly fast.
Overall, I was very excited when we bought this printer and brought it home. The ink is cheap compared to my laser printer. I love being able to print off documents with color again. I have had no problems with paper jamming. The one problem I have...

Pros: initial print quality Cons: ink usage, epson customer service, loud
After having a HP660 for nearly 5 yrs my wife and I desired a printer with a higher resolution. This was the beginning of my mistake. After shopping around we found the Epson Stylus 820 Photo. This device was highly recommended by the individuals at...

Pros: Honestly not very many, fair quality. Cons: Ink thirsty, only Epson paper, error prone.
I wish I had read the reviews here first. Initially I thought this would be a good buy not only because of Epson's reputation but also because they seem to use inexpensive cartridges.
Turns out those inexpensive cartridges are mighty small...

Pros: Great quality, borderless printing and a great price. Cons: Noisy, heads clog, and few programs can deal without borders.
I own three of these for around four months, and they are yet to have a problem (except clogged heads). The paper has always fed perfectly for me, and the prints have always looked great (except when the heads clog).
The box includes...

Pros: Good quality Cons: Only works with Epson paper. Ink is very expensive and runs out quickly.
I have an Epson Photo 820 and find that it is almost too expensive to even use. I only use it for a few photos now and then. I have a Samsung laser printer I use for most of my printing. The EPSON ink is very expensive as is the necessary Epson papers....

Pros: uses a lot of ink, nozzle clogs a little slow Cons: great photo's and service seems great (so far)
I wrote a review a couple of days ago and was very upset with my 3 month old printer. I put new black ink cartridge in and it does not recognize it and the red service light won't go off. E mailed tech support and received a answer a day later. Did...

Pros: Price, quality Cons: Needs frequent headclean cycles
I finally replaced my old Lexmark with the new Epson 820. I was looking for improved and more consistent output quality for photos and lower price for the ink.
I use this printer exclusively for photos - i use an HP for document output due to...
