Details: Down a long flight of brick steps, LaBuca is a near-perfect reproduction of similar downstairs restaurants in Florence, Italy; tapestries, ceramics and other Florentine trappings contribute to the impression. There are contemporary attributes to the culture, too, with pictures of modern day heroes like Luciano Pavarotti to evoke an overwhelming sense of what is to come. As you might expect, the owner/chef hails from that fair city, and even his menu reflects that fact.
