I've booked 2 trips on Funjet online. The 1st to Mazatlan, Mexico & the 2nd to Cancun, Mexico. Their website, www.funjet.com is helpful with climate & activity info, pictures of hotels and ratings, etc. There is only one
complaint:
1. Typically, to get good deals, you need to take charter planes which depart on certain days of the week, usually Fri,Sat for a set length of time. Trips are usually offered as 4 day or 7 day packages. It's hard to customize a vacation here, but maybe over the phone is better.
Funjet took care of us from top to bottom. I LOVE that the price quoted is the final price, no extra taxes, hidden fees, etc. The price included our air, hotel, food if wanted, & airport/hotel transfers. When we got to the airport there was a Funjet Representative with a big sign announcing where to go. We traveled by bus to the hotel & a tour guide told us about the area, how to get around, what to do & what not to do. There was a Funjet Rep at our hotel during certain hours of the day. We could ask questions or book activities through him. He wasn't pushy, just helpful.
Our rooms & flights were up to par. We flew on Allegro Air with no problems. We were given all the paperwork via mail promptly. I met many people in Mexico who booked travel another means and paid more, were charged airport departure & fuel fees separately and received a bill for hotel taxes at check out. It anything, go to Funjet.com to check out your next destination and compare hotels. They come highly recommended.
