Pros: Yes it will do 170mph - nice for two people on a long trip.
Cons: Brakes - but if you replace the rubber lines the front wheel locks up easyer.
The Bottom Line: I have seen more than one ZX11 with over 70,000 miles and going strong. That says somthing about comfort and durability?

I have Had the ZX11 bike that is considered dated for two years. I got it used with 12000 miles a super find. Well here it gos Its got a two tone rose and black paint job. Most of these bikes have only a single color. I parked next to a ZX12 and a Hayabusa at the beach. The responce was far from look at the old bike. The ZX12 paint job is too plain jane. The Ninja decals are so small on the new bike. That the peg positon is to high on the new bikes. On a ZX12 You can feel the plastic tank crush in bettween your legs. Plain and simple the ZX11 is more confortable on a long trip. Its made strong. The passanger seat is much better on a ZX11. Thats what my girl friend said. The new bikes pass. seat sits very much higher. Some girls will consider this a unsafe hang onto your back hard to survive deal. And the new bikes are not that much faster. I know because I had some light to light runs. A zx11 is not a slow bike. At 10 miles per hour slower without mods a used zx11 is a great value. Its like a old muscle car in appeal. I think it will always be known as one of the best bikes ever made. ZX11 has been around so long. Its a High school dream come true to own one. No complaints just smiles.
