The 2000 Kawasaki Ninja ZX9R is a complete performance package. This is your bike if you care about looks, handling and all out speed. If anyone is given the chance to ride one, they will find themselves upgrading like myself. Kawasaki has done their homework in building a solid machine.
The bike has many positive key features to point out. The fully adjustable front and rear suspension has been upgraded from the 99 model. Wider ranges of adjustments are available to fine tune just for your style. The rear shock has been modified for rear seat height and will allow you to throw the bike into corners faster while accommodating the taller rider. The seat and gas tank design with position of the handle bars allows for a more upright riding position and an all out crouch for the beat me if you can. The only real negative that can be noticed is the jump of power when coming out of a corner. The lack of smooth transition can surprise you sometimes.
If you don't want any more wrinkles on your face, don't buy. You will be smiling like a little kid at Christmas or squinting in disbelief on what this bike is capable of doing. Keeping the front tire down seems to be not too difficult unless you unleash the beast with full throttle and quick shifts. The weak of heart need not apply.
Anyone who has experience on sport bikes (600's or bigger) would appreciate this machine. I highly recommend this to only experienced riders. This is in now way a starter bike. Anyone foolish enough to buy this for their first bike will end up dead or severely hurt! The ZX9R demands a great deal of respect and should be not taken lightly.
