Cons: an aluminum frame to take off some weight. Other than that, it's perfect for me.
The Bottom Line: Awesome bike. Does everything well. Wicked powerful, Ultimate value!

This bike is the perfect bike for me. It delivers hellacious roll-on power in its fat, beefy midrange. Handling and braking are awesome for such a heavy bike. I love the rear brake because it won't lock up and send you sliding. The front brakes are powerful enough to give you confidence and won't suddenly try to throw you over the handlebars. I bought mine new in '02 and have put 17,000 virtually maintenance-free miles on it-a standard for reliability. It's the most comfortable thing on the market. You can ride it all day without butt-burn setting in. At highway speeds it's as smooth as an electric motor, and begs to be ridden at 100mph all day long. With a double bubble, tank bag, and soft saddlebags, feel free to explore the country(you'll want to take a long time!). And the price? Without a doubt, the most "bang-for-your-buck" in the whole word of motorcycles. Easy as pie to ride, wicked powerful, always rock-solid stable in corners and even at illegal speeds(not that I ride it that fast),awesome suspension, lots of goodies like hydraulic clutch, fuel gauge, clock, dual tripmeters, bungee pegs(no hooks needed), and even a centerstand! What's not to like!! I'll never get rid of my Bandit!! It totally rocks my world, and I would reccommend it to anyone who wants everything out of a bike.
