| Astralmind's Full Review: Kenwood CD-425M 200-Disc CD Changer |
Well I always asked myself, why would someone need a 200 CD changer ? My girlfriend never tought that there could be a good reason to buy such a product. Well I saw this unit at the mentioned price (about 135 US) which is really cheap. So I bought it.. and my god did I do the right thing. This baby simply rocks. It works really well, is pretty silent and has some features that can't be find elsewhere. The PC link (when setup correctly) offers great versatility. You can name your CDs via CDDB or with the help of the included wireless keyboard. It plays well and gives a sound quality decent enough to anybody who isn't a maniac audiophil. And ever then.. with the optical out, it's hard to have a clearer sound. Now the fact that the 425m doesn't have a coax out is somewhat problematic. Only a few ppl uses the optical I/O. That said, optical is better so... buy it, love it and take care of it.
