| polaris1000's Full Review: JVC CH-X350 12-Disc CD Changer |
I purchased the JVC x350rf 12 disk radio modulator, over 4 years ago and have had not one single problem with the unit! This unit was considered a "Low End" model at the time of purchase 4 1/2 years ago. Paid $217.00(probably cheaper and more features now) at Best Buys in Billings Montana. Good sound quality, No radio interference. It came with a remote the size of lighter, I don't use it much because it has almost got lost a couple of times. I prefer to use the manual push button control that I have mounted to the dash. It plays my CDR's fine, that I burned from MP3's to WMA's. Not sure if it will play straight MP3's burned to CDR's. I have never heard it skip, on a song or fail to read a disk ever!
I had a Pioneer radio modulator(Same type of Unit) and the sliding CD trays where always jamming, especially in winter. Not this player. You want a dependable player because where you install the unit is under a seat, trunk or some other out of sight area (hard to get at) You only want to access the stacker cartridge and not have to pull the entire unit out to un-jam your CD's.
Pros:Dependable in all kinds of temperature, Good sound, Good price, Easy installation.
Con: 1 tiny gripe, the door to the CD cartridge tends to wiggle open in my 4X4 truck. Leaving your player open for dirt. I use a small piece of duct tape for piece of mind.
I give this player: 2 Big Thumbs Up!
