Pros: Works great, up and running in minutes!
Cons: Only holds one DVD (but hey, that's not bad for everyone!)
The Bottom Line: This machine is up in minutes, has a perfect picture and great sound, and it is a great way for the family to enjoy their time together while watching movies!!

Here is the story of how I can to acquire this great piece of machinery--
Last week I purchased this dvd/vcr player online. At bestbuy.com I paid $299.99 for this great machine. I ordered it to be sent to my house, but I had to pay a pretty hefty shipping fee--about $15.00. I ordered the dvd/vcr player on Sunday and it was at my doorstep on Wednesday at 1:00 in the afternoon.
I then went to start to setup the machine and I followed the directions, which were in text and picture form, and the dvd/vcr player was working perfectly.
That same night, Halloween, was when I had to take my two children around to get their candy. I wanted to watch "The Amazing Race" (a reality tv show) that night, but I would miss it because of the children. I setup the timer recording on the vcr and popped in a tape to record on. When I was finished with taking the children around for candy, I watch my recorded tv show, and it's picture and sound were so great that it was better than I could ever imagine.
On Friday night I rented a dvd from blockbuster for about $5.00. I went home and watched it with my family and I was amazed at everything that the dvd player could do. You could zoom in on the scene during any part of the movie; you could change the angle of the scene; you could record the movie onto a vcr tape; you could watch the extra footage included in the movie; and for the kids, there were great games for them to play at the end of the movie! That was a family-fun-night that I will never forget!
This really is a great machine with many great features and it is pretty inexpensive compared to other machines. It is also so easy to setup, even for people who don't know the first thing about electronics, like me!!
