Pros: Awesome sound, sweet price, simple design
Cons: small buttons on the remote, no hookups for B speakers
The Bottom Line: Great sound, great power, nice looks, useful design. No real complaints about anything. Remote does suck, but is useful once you get used to it.

| aj99929's Full Review: Pioneer VSX-D510 5.1 Channels Receiver |
I bought this receiver nearly a year ago to replace a weak 70 w/channel Aiwa. It did have more audio and video hookups, but the sound quality was second rate. I woulda thought that the sound would've been the most important part of a receiver? The sound quality of the pioneer is outstanding at normal and high volumes. The bass from this amp isn't deep bass rumble, it's accurate and hard hitting. Probably the most natural sounding amp I've heard in a long time under $400 and still has 100 watts per channel. This amp has a lot in common with amps of 10 years ago in it's simplicity and great sound, but it also has a lot of added features of todays modern amps. All round a very good amp and a very good job done by pioneer.
