I am very satisfied with this model of CD player. It really is very durable and gives your car the best possible sound quality there is.
The buttons, while small, are easily visible while driving so the driver does not have to worry about playing with the buttons while trying to pay attention to the road. The player is very easy to use, the manual is very articulate and well stated to make programming radio stations or names of songs very easy. At night the buttons are well lit and so is the LCD screen.
One feature I do like on this model is that you can name each CD you put in. It helps organize your CD library and gives people your driving with something to look at. On the same note you may also name your favorite radio stations and program them into the stereo's memory.
This car stereo has not skipped on me yet and I've had it for four months, believe me it's tough stuff. The face plate not only flips around to become nearly undetectable but is also detachable. It comes with a nice little carrying case that has two foam pads on the inside to keep the screen safe and to stop the face plate from sliding around. You also have the option of adding a remote control to the package for about $30. Another anti-theft device is that you can enter a code and without that code the CD will not activate again.
If you have a nice car and want a nice CD player to go with it then I would recommend this as a great choice. Kenwood is top of the line for car stereos and this is near the top of the line for Kenwood as far as single CD players go.
For about $250 you can get the stereo professionally installed and get a reassuring warranty on it.
My car doesn't have the best speakers but it still sounds great, this CD player will adapt to any quality of speakers, good or bad.
