ABOUT DIGIFINE2.1 (KD-SH77)
JVC's digifine2.1 KD-SH77 CD receiver continues the Digifine Series tradition of excellence! The rugged, motorized aluminum faceplate will impress you with its look of quality, and this receiver dishes up superlative sound to match.
The Burr-Brown 24-bit D/A converter generates audiophile-quality CD sound from your CDs, CD-Rs, and CD-RWs. Switch on JVC's Intelli-EQ (iEQ) for access to 9 preset EQ curves, 3 user curves, and 3-band parametric EQ. Super Bass enhances low-frequency response in 8 steps, while EQ Link lets you assign a sound preset to each source (AM, FM, and CD).
For broadcast radio at its best, check out JVC's HS-IIIi tuner. Four-volt front, rear, and subwoofer preamp outputs send a clean, strong signal to your component amps. You'll find two A/V inputs (one front, one rear) for hooking up a portable MP3 or tape player plus a mobile DVD or VCR!

PERSONAL EPINION:
Personally, I think that the whole digifine2.1 family of receivers is one of the best on the market. If you compare the frequency responce of the receivers you will see that it's broader than those of Kenwood, Panasonic, some of the Sony receivers. At the same time the CD sound to noice ratio is at 102dB, beating most of other comparable CD receivers.
Another feature that I find sets the digifine2.1 family apart from competition is the fully motorized faceplate with various angles of position (adjustable with a push of a button). If you do your research you will see that no other manufacturer offers this feature, unless you are willing to pay more.
In conclusion, I greatly recommend this family of receivers. I promise you that ones you set one into your dash you will be amazed at how much you really get with these CD players.
