| drew6652's Full Review: Sony Walkman MZ-G750DPC Personal MiniDisc Player |
I just bought at mz-g750 on e-bay for $175.00. I'm probably not the first to figure this out, but if you have a playstation 2 and a TOS link, you can record your music onto your mini disc. The ps2 will even read cd-r's of your soon to be mixes, just make sure you convert them to WAV format first. Just plug in the digital TOS cable, play the cd on the ps2, hit record on the MD unit, and you get awesome sound and accurate recordings. I just found that so be so cool i had to tell someone...know the review about the item.
The price is dropping online for this unut, which is very good. I'm very happy it has a remote, as compared to my past mz-r500 and having a tuner getting pretty damn good reception is also a plus. However, working the tuner and presetting your radio stations is a P.I.T.A. But i eventually got it to work after reading the not so helpful manual. All the buttons are in the right place. Long lasting battery. It got great sound through the md-port dg2 but even better using the ps2. There really isn't anything out standing with this model, it's just as all othe others but it has a radio. Navigating through the menue and setting options is VERY easy too. Sorry for a breif review, there isn't a whole lot to say about this unless you dont know anything about md recorders in general. BYE!
