cameeruth's Full Review: Tot Grip Mini Clearview Half Strip Stapler Assorte...
Hey all you busy, paper-handling people out there- I've made a discovery! Preparing outlines, scribbling out drafts, and writing paper after paper has become a major part of my life lately. Paper really does grow on trees, and it seems to fall off of trees just as easy, as it lands scattered all over the floor of my bedroom. In high school it was a lot easier to stay organized. The teachers always provided the tape, staples, rubber bands, and paper clips. One early-in-the-year school day, I found myself frustrated and tired. I was sick of making a homemade staple by ripping the corner of a stack of papers and then proceeding to fold that rip over, with a prayer in my heart that it wouldn't come undone. I felt unprofessional and sloppy. I write this review with a thankful heart, for if it weren't for my frustrating homemade staples, I wouldn't have found my Tot Grip Mini Clearview Half Strip Stapler at the local Wal-Mart.
Tinsy Winsy Size I'd like to address the lil' baby size of this thing. Remember the ancient staplers that two little elementary hands couldn't hold up? I sure can. My mini stapler fits easily between my pointer finger and my thumb. One great feature of this stapler is that standard-sized staples still fit. No need to stock up on and buy a special size of staple. You can simply throw your old ten-pound weight away, and still use the left over staples. It's little and compact, and I still never find myself reloading my stapler every tenth punch- it can fit up to fifty staples!
Quick and Easy Use How about the capability of this healthy-hand held item? I'm not sure if the National Board of Education just didn't know about the Tot Grip Mini, or what, but it sure has decreased the arthritis in my hands. I don't need to use two hands and a hip to squeeze the ending result of a tiny staple attaching two thin sheets of paper. The finger fitting crevices that are located on the top and bottom of the stapler make it easy and comfortable to get the job done, quick and easy. Welcome to the new world of grab and go stapling everyone.
Big, Hearty Features I wouldn't take the time to write this review to try and sell you something that wasn't quality. I haven't had any staple jams yet, that's including the stapler itself and the paper- no tangled messes in my house. You'd think that something so mini wouldn't do as good of job as a bigger stapler, but I beg a differ. Not only does this mini stapler have a big heart, as if it wasn't already sufficient enough, Clearview even included a built-in stapler remover for those "just in case" situations. Like bigger, more expensive models of staplers, my mini, too, came with hindges to allow the user to make staples on walls, bulletin boards, ect. For a three-dollar item, at most, you are definitely getting your money's worth.
Studious Fun My Tot Grip Mini Clearview Half Strip Stapler doesn't just get the job done anywhere, any time- it's fun to use too! One a particular day, about a month ago, I found myself sitting in Sociology class on the due date of a three-page assignment. I remember smiling when I heard four distant voices cry out for a stapler. I already knew our professor wasn't going to have one, so I immediately reached for my pink mini stapler that was in the front-slip pocket of my backpack (Note: purple, pink, green, and blue are the color choices I had at the local Wal-Mart). I love being the "grab and go stapling" girl at school. Who knew this addition to my school supplies would bring so much service-giving joy to my life.
