Pros: Cheap, good for movies
Cons: Renders effects poorly
The Bottom Line: If you only need this for semi-intensive applications or gaming, it is an okay choice otherwise get something more powerful.

| dinquz's Full Review: ATI RADEON® 7000, (32 MB) AGP Video Card |
The installation was easy as I have had lots of experience with hardware. The drivers worked fine and I had no problems; just popped it in and installed drivers and I was done. Since I bought the card mainly for gaming purposes I was expecting some fairly good performance but it seems like this card cannot even render some simple water effects in a game that does not require anything more than a Pentium II and a 16mb video card. This is of course disappointed me but what do expect when you pay $60.00 on a card? Watching movies on this card works fine, the picture is good looking; no real problems. I would suggest if you need a gaming video card, you either get a higher end Radeon, which I have seen on my friend's computer and looks great or get a GeForce. I have been on numerous computers with GeForce2s, 3s, and 4s and all of them do a great job with computer games and movie watching. Overall, this card isn't anything really fantastic but you get what you pay for!
