PhoenixFlight's Full Review: Jeremy McGrath Supercross 2000 for PlayStation 1
I have been into Supercross racing since I was a kid in the 70’s and Bob “Hurricane” Hannah was winning every Saturday. I got away from the sport for several years and then heard about the new kid on the block tearing up the tracks. Jeremy McGrath has won the 250cc Supercross Championship six times and has more wins than any other rider in AMA history.
I always wanted to be Bob Hannah but since that didn’t work out the next best thing is being McGrath with my Sony Playstation. This game absolutely rocks and is far superior to the original Supercross. There are eight indoor tracks to race and eight outdoor tracks that include Glen Helen, Red Bud and Steel City.
One of the neatest things about this game is the new added feature of the stunt competition and Freestyle. The game allows you to work on your bikes and customize them for each race even going as far as letting you create your own tracks to race on. You can race as Jeremy, Larry Ward, Sebastian Tortelli or any of the other great racers the game features.
The graphics on this game are first rate and very enjoyable to view. My favorite track is Glen Helen followed closely by Spring Creek. Jeremy McGrath is available for Sony, N64, and has just come out in Game Boy cartridges. I have spent hours playing this game and still love the challenge.
I highly recommend Jeremy McGrath 2K as a great game to play. Easy to learn and hours of fun.
