Cons: Compatibility issues with some hardware and poor customer service
The Bottom Line: Steer clear of it. There are too many other products out there to have to deal with compatibility issues and sub-standard customer support.

After installation in a Dell 500 I quickly experienced problems. Actiontec's Tech Support department acknowledged a
known compatibility issue with their chipset and my nVidia video card, and indicated that a replacement would be sent out right away. Eight emails, 5 phone calls and three weeks later, and I learn thatnothing has been done yet. They're very hard to get through to on the phone, and answer emails very slowly, if at all. Very, very frustrating. Turns out I have to wait for them to send me RMA paperwork, then I have to ship it back to them, they have to change some chips in it,and send it back. That wouldn't be so bad if the first RMA hadn't gotten lost on their end. And the whole process could be made less frustrating and time consuming for both sides if they would clearly advise customers of the procedure up front. The experience has soured me on anything with the Actiontec name on it.
