Pros: Small and very light.
Cons: Poor low light/indoor picture quality.
The Bottom Line: Acceptable for outdoor use, when you don't want to lug around a larger heavier camera.

This camera is compact and light enough to throw in your pocket and take anywhere. Picture quality is ok for snapshots. PC software is acceptable but the download of pictures to your computer is a little slow.
There is no flash, so indoor pictures require MORE than average room lighting or they will turn out dark and grainy. In a well lit room during daylight hours some pictures will turn out too dark and grainy to be usable.
The most irritating thing about this camera, and most cameras that use SDRAM, is that there is no on/off switch. If you leave batteries in the camera, in two weeks they will be drained. This is because the batteries are continuously keeping the SDRAM active to hold any movies that you might have taken, even when the camera has shut itself OFF. This is annoying in that you cannot leave batteries in the camera for emergency use. You have to carry them around separately and try to pop them in quickly when you need the camera.
