I purchased these bath appliques from kidsurplus.com because I wanted something to protect me kids from slipping in the tub, but I couldn't find a bath mat that I really liked.
Alex's "Rub a Dub Dub Safe in the Tub" bath appliques come in packs of eight and are available in two cute designs- frog and duck. They have a non skid surface and are designed to stick directly on your tub. If your tub has a textured surface, the company does warn that the applique will not stick to it.
When I first got this product, I followed the directions on the package. I washed my bathtub and let it dry completely. If the surface of your tub is wet or dirty, the appliques may not hold. They have been on my tub for 4 months so far and are still holding.
One thing you may want to consider when purchasing this product is the fact that you will probably need more than one pack to adequately cover the surface of your tub. Two should do it. I made the mistake of buying just one pack and now I have to pay for shipping all over again to buy another one.
I think this product is a good buy and looks really cute in my bathroom. I would recommend it!
