Speakers made for pros but at a consumer price

Pros: excellent bass, great quality, and more!
Cons: wires just a bit to short (for me)
The Bottom Line: These are the best 2.1 speakers I've tried yet! Get it if you're on a tight budget! But you'll be spending the damn best (whatever) bucks, you ever spended.

I just bought my pair of Altec Lansing 211 speakers, and I must say it's really incredible! The subwoofer that comes with this piece may look small but is very powerfull! And the other 2 speakers are also small but again very powerful. To me it was worth the 80 buck (in CDN). Trust me if you run across this speaker take it!! The 5.1 (251) has the same sub and sattalites except you get the center channel and the rear channel, and if you got the extra cash (and the right soundcard)then get that one instead, it's the same but with more speakers!
Setup
Setting the speakers all up was really easy, you just have to place the speakers where you want it, then hook it up then you can start playin', the setup sorta reminds me of the setup my dad did when he got his Bose system (a good one).
Sound
The sound was very crisp, and the bass was excellent!!!!!! At first I thought it won't sound that good but just average, but then when I tried it, the sound was excellent!!!! To make this simple, the sound was: excellent. Period.
