The Bottom Line: Definitely something to consider. Great entry level 4+1 system.

Sound:
______________
These speakers put out great sound. I bought these speakers in April 2000, I paid quite a bit of money for them 149.99 Canadian or about 99$ US. The sub-woofer is 20 watt and is well sealed. This sub is only 4 inches, which is small, but for someone with a 2-piece, worth hearing. This results in good low end bass. The front and rear speakers are 5 watt each, yet sound crystal clear.
Personally, I have my speakers set up about 1 ft. from my monitor on both sides, set back a little. With the rears at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock. This puts out great stereo. I recommend putting the sub-woofer against a wall, but it can also double as a nice foot-rest.
I found that the sub-woofer, me now owning it for 15 months, and about 1000 hours on the sub. I noticed that the sound has not degraded yet has got softer and is easier to distort.
Features:
______________
When I got my speakers it came with everything I needed. A quick-guide, along with more detailed instructions.
Volume control, surround control.
Color-coded plugs and cables! This is much appreciated. Setup took not even 5 minutes from start to finish.
Other:
______________
On the sub-woofer it says 120 watt input. I wonder where the other 80 watts went, aside from making a nice foot warmer, it would have been nice to put the sub to 40 watt or maybe 6". Make sure you have a SB-Live! or above when making your choice, since this can add from 75$ to 100$ US to your purchase price.
