Pros: Great value. Clean, spacious rooms. Friendly service. Excellent buffets for short money.
Cons: Far from the strip and downtown so you'll need to rent a car.
The Bottom Line: A lot of bang for your buck.

| arthurjackson's Full Review: Arizona Charlie's Boulder |
I've stayed at Arizona Charlie's many times and I absolutely love the place. The price is low because it's so far off the strip (about 5 miles I'd say) but there are many other cheap off-strip places that aren't nearly as nice.
First off, the rooms are huge. They're actually two-room suites with a bedroom and a good sized sitting room (there's a TV in each room). Secondly, unlike other cheap places I've stayed in Vegas you won't fear for your life here. A lot of the low-priced off-strip places cater to really seedy characters - here the clientele is decent, a lot of locals and older folk.
Because it is so far from the strip it isn't a great place to stay if you don't have a car. If, like me, you rent a car then it's a great place to stay.
Also, because it is so far from the fancy hotels of the strip it's not a great place for a romantic trip. (My wife likes to sight-see at all the fancy hotels so when I go to Vegas with her we stay on the strip, but when I come out with the boys I always stay here).
There's nothing fancy here but the rooms are spacious and clean and the people who work here are friendly and helpful. If you're on a budget and don't mind being far from the strip this is the place to go.
