I had heard of Audiobahn through friends,reviews,etc and decided to buy some. Found them on Yahoo auctions for $77 a pair so I got them. I out them in a generic box I had built pushed by a 800w power acoustic "gothic" amp (which is a VERY good amp I think). They sounded solid, made reasonable bass,but I think the box had too much air for them tho. I later hooked them up to a RF 500w amp, which they did much better. I dont think they could possibly handle 1000w like they say, they tended to distort at about 250 w. Maybe it was my homemade box, amp distortion, who knows. Anyway, I had to sell them because we had a baby (no room for a car seat with these monsters in the back seat of a z-71). I recommend these to anyone wanting clean sound and quality construction. They will not hang with the JL's, Alpines, or top of the line subs tho.
