| keith1010's Full Review: Audiovox CDM-4000 Cell Phone |
The CDM-4000XL is a descent phone, nothing more, nothing less. After using Nokia and Sprint PCS phones I wish I had one. I thought I was getting a really good deal by buying the phone for $50 and payments of $33 per month with 250 minutes and insurance. It's a dual-band phone with an optional bigger battery. It comes with plenty of features and toys that
are nice luxuries. The phone itself is a good size, it easily fits in any pocket and has numerous rings and volumes. It's supposed to work pretty much anywhere in the continental U.S. whether it is on digital or analog. However, if you plan on talking in a mall or store, etc. you will have a BIG problem getting your end of the conversation to the other side. One time I was in the mall and my phone picked up on the mall music instead of the other end of the line. Even when my display reads that the reception is excellent, I still have problems talking, I can hear crystal clear, but on the other end the reception breaks up.
