Pros: A Good Overall Shampoo With An Extra Moisture Kick; Pleasant Scent
Cons: May Not Be Moisturizing Enough for Those With Dry or Damaged Hair
The Bottom Line: I wouldn't consider this a particularly moisturizing shampoo, but it is a very nice one nonetheless. Give it a try, but keep the moisture factor in mind.

| murkydreamer's Full Review: Aussie Moist Shampoo |
Reading the words on my Aussie Moist Shampoo bottle, I am almost whisked away to some sort of shampoo heaven where my hair is pampered beyond belief. After all, all these exotic Australian ingredients (and lovely chemicals as well) "infuse moisture" so my "thirsty hair" (it must be dehydrated) is "instantly quenched." Sounds like a product that would work wonders if you have dry/damaged hair, right? Possibly. But I'm not entirely convinced.
^^^What's inside the bottle?^^^
A shampoo with a nice creamy texture and an absolutely delightful smell. Unlike a lot of other shampoos, I find it neither too thin (runny) or too thick (gloppy). This shampoo is marketed for people with dry or damaged hair and it contains a variety of extracts (I think I counted 11 in total). It lathers quite well and rinses cleanly without leaving a lot of residue. The scent lasts in my hair and I've definitely gotten compliments on it.
^^^Ok, how about the bottle itself?^^^
The one I have is a beige color, although apparently they're changing to purple. The bottle holds its shape well, unlike some other shampoo bottles (ahem, Suave) that tend to "collapse" on me. Those cute hopping kangaroos are a plus, but now I digress...
^^^How do I use this stuff?^^^
The directions on the bottle tell you to:
1. Saturate hair with water.
2. Massage shampoo deeply into scalp and root, while enjoying fragrant aromatics.
3. Drench with water to rinse.
4. Repeat if desired.
A fancy way of saying put it on, rinse it out, and repeat if you want to (which I never do).
Aussie recommends that you use the Moist Shampoo with the Moist Conditioner. I've been using it with my leftover Aussie Mega Instant Conditioner which works perfectly well for me.
^^^Who's it for?^^^
Supposedly people with dry or damaged hair. Honestly though, I definitely don't consider myself to have either and I use it because it makes my hair slightly smoother compared to the Aussie Mega Shampoo I had been using before. While I do like this shampoo a lot, I don't find it extremely moisturizing (but moisturizing enough for my hair), so it may not cut it for those truly looking for a "moisturizing" shampoo.
^^^Where can I find it?^^^
Your local drugstore. I believe I bought mine at Target at 2 for $4 for a 16floz/473ml size.
^^^My take on it^^^
If your hair could use a little extra "oomph" of moisture, give this a try because it's a really nice shampoo for that purpose! If you're looking for something that can really help dry or damaged hair, you might want to look elsewhere first.
