Pros: Beautiful crib. Manufacturer did send someone out to check out crib.
Cons: Poor engineering. Manufacturer did not resolve issues.
The Bottom Line: Great look, but extremely disappointed in crib design. Not worth the price! I would have bought a cheaper crib by far for what problems this crib has brought us!!

| scherloc99's Full Review: Babys Dream Generation Next |
We bought a Generation crib from Baby's Dream because it was gorgeous. Very nice design. We were pleased with the crib, until we lowered it to the bottom level since our baby was standing up. This ended up leaving a huge gap between the mattress and the crib. Or mattress was a standard Simmons mattress that we bought at Baby's R' Us. The contact person asked us to send pictures we did. But, to make a long story short, we had to continually follow up either by email or phone calls. It was ridiculous that Aimee, the representative never called us back. They finally sent a representative out to check the crib since they were in the area, which you'd think was great. Well, the answer we got was to get another mattress. However, as reading other reviews on this crib, other people have had the same problem. Thank goodness no child has broken an arm or leg from these gaps! Maybe they should think about re-designing this crib to fit with a standard mattresses. We are actually put in another call last week because the piece on the top of our crib was rusted. It had scrapes in it to begin with, but we didn't want to make a big deal on a few scrapes, but then it got rusted. This representative promised us a new piece, but it still hasn't arrived at least 5 weeks later and we still are waiting for the representative to return our call. We are very disappointed that there were no answers to why our mattress fit snug on the top and had huge gaps on the bottom. We figured their was a defect with the crib, such as the wood was warped, but the company denies it. Therefore, with no resolution what so ever, we are now left with purchasing another mattress on top of what we paid for the first mattress for this $500+ crib. On top of that, since we weren't about to endanger our baby, we have the duty of getting him back in his crib! Any mom and dad knows what that is like!!
