| cindy66's Full Review: Bailey Nurture Iii |
Just before our son was born, we found ourselves looking for breast pumps -- a very difficult task considering that every woman is different and we had absolutely no experience with anything of the sort. Of course, we considered Medela, but we saw that the recommended pump was more than twice as much as the Nurture III. I am so glad that we took the chance. I had success with this pump from the very first try. The user-controlled cycling allows me to pump most efficiently under a variety of circumstances, for example, when I am pressed for time or when I pump at different times in our feeding schedule. I do not work outside of the home, but I do attend all-day graduate seminars with short breaks. I have never spent more than 20 minutes pumping (usually much less), and the suction is quite sufficient to pump both breasts at once. In addition, the carrying case with the cooler on the bottom is very convenient; I have had owners of other brands of pump ask me where I got the case!
Setup of the pump can be a little delicate -- if you use collection bottles other than those provided, you may need to fiddle around a bit with how tightly the bottles are screwed on to get the proper amount of suction. I always use at least one Bailey bottle, though, and have few problems.
Finally, I am just thrilled with Bailey's customer service on this product. I recently ordered some replacement parts (to have ready in case of emergency). I went to Bailey's website to place my order, and received the parts in the mail the next day! Over all, I believe that the Nurture III is a great bargain.
