MumMumMum's Full Review: Banana Boat Aloe After Sun Lotion
I’ve been spending a lot of time out in the sun this summer, enjoying the pool, walking and biking, and I’ve been developing a great tan along the way. Of course I always use sunscreen, but I’ve also found that my skin has been getting dryer and flaky at times after spending the day in the sun and the pool. I don’t want to lose the tan I’ve got so I decided to try Banana Boat Aloe After Sun Lotion. I was hoping for a lotion that would moisturize, reduce my flakiness and prevent peeling. I was also hoping for a product that would help extend the life of my tan.
Banana Boat Aloe After Sun Lotion is packaged in a handy pump bottle that makes applying it easy. The clear bottle is great because you can see just how much you have left, so you’ll know when its time to make another trip to the store to stock up. Banana Boat Aloe After Sun Lotion contains Aloe Vera and Vitamin E, which help prevent peeling and dryness, and also helps my skin retain the moisture it needs. It’s very moisturizing but not at all greasy. I really like the way it is so creamy and so easy to apply, as well as the fact that a little goes a very long way. It doesn’t leave a sticky feeling to the skin, just a nice, soft moisturized feeling. It is lightly scented, but it doesn’t overpower and the smell doesn’t last a long time, so it doesn’t interfere with any perfume or other product that you might wear. And even though I do have extremely sensitive skin I haven't had any problem with Banana Boat Aloe After Sun Lotion at all.
I’ve found my skin feels soft and smooth, and my tan isn’t fading or flaking away. Although I have noticed that I do have to apply Banana Boat Aloe After Sun Lotion at least twice a day to get the results I want, and even then I have added another moisturizer to my nightly skin care routine. But I would attribute that to my spending most of the day outside and in a chlorinated pool. That’s bound to dry out your skin! I do recommend Banana Boat Aloe After Sun Lotion, it’s a product I will be buying more of in the future.
