My Experience
The Flawless Application Face Brush looks a bit peculiar at first due to the short handle. Bare Escentual claims that it will evenly distribute bareMinerals Foundation, All-Over Face Color, and Blush. As directed, I usually swirl the brush in the inverted lid that has some bareMinerals Foundation and then tap and then buff the minerals onto my face. I find that the Flawless Application Face Brush is not sufficient to cover uneven skin tone and redness with the bareMinerals Foundation. I have some redness by my nose, T-zone, and chin. It does not lay enough foundation on to provide the flawless look (even when I conceal first using the concealer brush). Instead, I use the kabuki brush to lay down the bareMinerals Foundation. I use the Flawless Application Face Brush mainly to buff on the mineral veil and occasionally to buff on the Warmth. Both the mineral veil and the Warmth require just a light dusting, so the Flawless Application Face Brush does the job just fine. I would recommend the Flawless Application Face Brush for light coverage jobs.
The bristles of the brush are soft. Regular cleaning of the brush is essential to maintain the softness of the bristles. As with the concealer brush, if the brush is not washed, I find that the bristles feel heavier, slightly oily, and a bit clumpy. Baby shampoo, a good water rinse, and air drying the brush will return the bristles to their original softness. The brush is durable; I have had the brush for more than half a year and the bristles continue to be in good condition.

The Bare Escentuals Flawless Application Face Brush is adequate for those with light coverage needs. For those with medium to heavy coverage needs, the Flawless Application Face Brush is not sufficient to provide the flawless look.
