Pros: No Flakes, No Fluids, No Mess
Cons: You need to get a handle and feel on it
The Bottom Line: I have been on my Wite Out endeavour for a few reviews now and I am just glad that I actually found something that works, perfectly.

| kparsons13's Full Review: Bic Wite-Out Correction Tape 1/6" x 323" White |
The other night I endeavored out into the big world as I have previously stated to treat myself to a Office Supplies at where else but, OfficeMax! I was looking for some correction fluid to replace the crappy Bic Wite Out Extra Coverage and Extra Coverage Plus that I was currently forced to use. As I scanned the isle, I found the BIC Wite Out Correction Kit with the All New Shake n Squeeze Pen, Quick Dry Wite Out, and lastly Wite Out Tape. I kind of rolled my eyes thinking that this kit was going to cost me around $4.00-$5.00, which I really wasnt looking to spend. It actually was $1.99 which is quite the bargain to get all three items. At least I thought so, but there are two of the three items that I now detest and arent worth a penny. Dont you worry I will be following those up with a review as well. So that leaves me the Bic Wite Out Tape. Here we go again
.

The Directions and Diagram
Instructions (see diagram) :
1) Hold dispenser with thumb in groove, BIC logo face up
2) Position nose flat, at angle, on area to be corrected
3) Press down firmly and move dispenser gently, left to right, across correction
Self Winding Mechanism
If the Tape Becomes Loose:
1) Press nose of tape firmly on paper
2) Make a quick motion towards the right
3) Repeat until tape rewinds
I cant include the diagram which only shows a hand over the tape dispenser rolling out the correction tape, not really that helpful that you are missing out on anything.

My Handy Dandy Description of the Bic Wite Out Correction Tape Dispenser
When I saw the dispenser I was a bit caught off guard. The best way I could describe it is that it looks like a mini tape dispenser with a clear plastic side and a dark gray plastic on the other side. Through the clear side is the roll of correction tape inside along a red wheel and a red tip to dispense the correction tape. There is a thumb groove to use that is smooth unlike the rest of the plastic, and you are supposed to put your thumb there to dispense the correction tape.
Okay, now I feel slightly stupid, but that isnt anything new. I just looked to see if there was a picture of it on the review and OF COURSE there is so all that talk was just unneeded but I shall leave it anyways. I worked hard on those words so just disregard the picture above, just kidding.

How The Correction Tape Really Works
First of all, I had never even heard of Correction Tape until my fiancé kept bragging about how he used to use it all the time at his old job and that he should have just bought that for me originally rather than listening to me whine.
I thought it felt odd at first and looked funny as well. I wasnt really sure what I was doing and I was almost getting frustrated when I realized I was reading the directions wrong. I was sitting there, firmly pressing down on the paper to try to get the correction tape out. Well it said GENTLY so I dont know why I misread but I did. I think I was just excited to try something new and it got the best of me. These are thoughts of a true office supply fanatic. After pressing onto the paper GENTLY, the tape dispensed onto the paper.
Here comes the exciting part
. There was no correction fluid on my hand. I didnt have to wait for anything to dry. I just rolled it out and corrected my error. I wrote on top of it and thought it may flake or come up but it didnt at all. It was perfection. I guess why is why I ask BIC continues to mass produce all the other correction fluids and pens that dont work worth a darn and just mass produce the tape. I dont have an answer for that.

The Small Down Side
The correction tape is an extremely small strip so for those other jobs you may have to break out the fluid, however for everyday writing, it does do the trick. I also as I said earlier had to learn how to use it correctly and that may take a minute of your time but then it is smooth sailing!

In Summary of the BIC Wite Out Correction Tape
All I can really say on this review is I finally found excellence within the Correction Wite Out Tape by BIC. I never thought I would get to this point with them, but I tried three other products and have now found faultlessness with the last one. Someone upstairs was actually doing a great designing job. It may take a moment getting used to but once you get the hang of it you will never turn back to the fluids or pens or anything else that they may eventually invent. This is all you and I need. Brilliant, isnt it?
Until next time,
K Parsons
