Cons: A good slice of toast needs fewer toppings. High-calorie toppings often go to waste.

If you want a toaster that toasts evenly, cleans easily, and lasts longer than any toaster you've ever used, try a Black & Decker. I especially like the extra wide slots that you can fit a half a bagel in! The Black & Decker Toast-It-All 2-Slice Toaster does it all.
Big Enough for Big Bagels!
I find that I can toast more types of bread and pastry than ever before. I grew up with homemade wheat bread that you had to slice yourself. It was always hard to fit the pieces in the slots because we would cut them too wide. What a pain! After getting this model of toaster I have been able to toast even large 3" bagels! If you want to toast something larger, like 4" long, the very top doesn't fit up and down so you may have to turn it over. But, the slots are still wider across and side to side than any other toaster I've used.
Lasts Longer Than any Other Toaster I've Owned
Usually when you get a toaster it lasts for about two years, at the most. Other toasters may work well for the first year, but then go down-hill with inconsistent results. I have had my toaster for over seven years. It works as good today as when I first got it. It is so reliable in comparison to other toasters that I wonder if other toaster manufacturers reduce the quality of their products on purpose to get people to buy them more often, since toasters usually don't last so long. I certainly know what company I'm going to buy a new toaster from if mine ever goes out.
Say Goodbye to Crumbs
The T2200 Model, like many of Black & Decker toaster models, has a convenient and easy to-use tray for crumbs. You don't have to turn the toaster over in any way to empty the crumb tray. The tray has a handle at the base of the toaster which easily releases and allows the tray to be slid out of under the toaster, and is easy to put back in. It stays closed and doesn't spread crumbs on the counter when you move the toaster unlike most other toasters.
Dirty-looking Toaster? Not This One
The material from which the toaster is made is easy to clean. All it takes is a wet, soapy cloth or paper towel. The toaster is white with a grey dial and lever to push down. None of these surfaces show streaks when they are cleaned. You know that gross brown build-up that gets on your appliances, it is easy to wipe off. With such easy cleaning, your white appliance helps your kitchen stay looking clean and bright.
Toasts Evenly Without a Fuss
The dial has 5 settings that are easy to use. Pastries, with fine crusts, should be cooked anywhere between 1 and 2, depending on how hot you want them. White bread can be toasted at 2, while wheat bread takes a little longer to brown. I usually set wheat bread at about 2 and 1/2 to 3. Now, here is the best part. Through the life of the toaster, the settings don't change in their ability to keep the same temperature. The bread toasts evenly over the surface too, without one part burnt and one part cold. For instance, slice after slice, if you set it on 2 it toasts at a 2. You don't have to turn the dial up over time to get the same results. This allows for sweet golden brown color and a non-burnt taste or smell with every slice. What more could you ask for?
