Pros: Wonderful ease-of-use & comfort options combined with high weight/height limits make this one exceptional seat!
Cons: It's heavy, but I managed as a 100# single mom to lug it through airports!
The Bottom Line: Comfiest, easiest, most reliable seat for my entire family (0-8 yrs, 5-62#, 20-48") WELL WORTH THE MONEY!

| papooses's Full Review: Britax Boulevard Convertible Car Seat - Brownstone |
Let's start with a bit of background info.... I'm a bio-mom, step-mom, foster-mom & day-care provider. I've been through DOZENS of carseats (also excited to say that I'm getting my Child Passenger Safety Technician Certification in 2 months! *wink*) Now then, the Boulevard is our FAVORITE for the following reasons:
~ RearFacing weight limit 5# to 33#
~ 65# 49" ForwardFacing weight & height limits
~ Built in lock offs & top tether for both ForwardFacing AND RearFacing (this helps get the necessary 45 degree angle for newborns)
~ True Side Impact Protection in the form of deep, wide head wings with energy absorbing foam
~ Great sleeping support & extra comfy body pillow
~ High harness height with super easy one handed adjustment knob
~ Base fits various vehicles easily & correctly (we've tried dozens of vehicles of various years, makes, models & styles!)
~ Seat sits up high to offer child lots of visibility
~ Easy to clean
The wonderful ease of use features of this seat -- lock offs, harness adjuster, top tether for RF & FF, etc. -- makes this seat so easy to install & use correctly ... VERY important since about 80% of parents misuse carseats & this leads to car accidents being the number ONE cause of death for kids, surpassing all other diseases combined!
The weight/height limits of this seat ensures your child will actually be mature enough for a dedicated booster when the time comes ... one of my kids outgrew this seat after Kindergarten graduation so by that time she was finally able to sit still in a booster (boosters protect children so long as they remember to sit still with the belt in the correct place for the entire length of the ride, if they put the belt behind their back or under their arm then they are at risk of severe/fatal injury!)
