After looking around at my local tech store, I decided on this scanner. After having previous experience with Canon scanners and the fact that Canon makes excellent imaging products (I also own a camera) really motivated me to buy this. The resolution on this baby is magnificent. I scan all my photos and make a photo album on CDs, and this scanner is definately going to make it a lot easier. It takes about 10 seconds to scan a typical photograph. The only dislike i have about this is the software. While it is decent, I found that scanning in Adobe Photoshop Elements made it a little more clear.
