This camera has average video quality, it is similar to video tape recorded in EP mode. But still, who needs best quality for amateur films. Camera has only one flaw: when you zoom out and record at the same time, image gets blurry. So you have to exclude "zoom out" from your movie's composition. Sound recording quality is great(clean and sounds are separated).
