I bought this camera before my first trip abroad last winter and I have been in love with it ever since! This camera is easy to use, even for a novice. After reading through the manual for no more than fifteen minutes, I was able to use all the functions on the camera with no trouble. Loading the film is especially easy compared to cameras I have owned in the past and the quality is much better than the "drop and load" style. After I returned from my trip, I received compliments from everyone who saw that pictures, including the one hour photo man, who couldn't believe some of the pictures weren't postcards. The camera has so many functions to help even the most amateur photographer get the perfect shot. One can change change from a high speed action shot to a portrait simply by spinning a wheel. Also, I have been using this camera a great deal for 10 months now and I haven't had to replace the battery yet!
The one small complaint I would have is that the night mode is pretty impossible to use. Even when the camera is kept very still, the pictures still come out blurry. A tripod would probably be necessary. Also, the timer only works with a remote, which doe not come with the camera. Despite these negatives, the camera is well worth your money and is by far the best camera I've ever owned. (This coming from a girl who has been obsessed with taking pictures for a very long time!)
