Wow - $70 is a very good deal - we paid $85 for Mystere three years ago and $105 for O two years ago. There isn't much that I'd pay those prices for, but Cirque was worth it.
But I know how tight budgets can be when you're a student!

Disgrace (Reply to this comment)

I've been wanting to see the Cirque du Soleil for years now, but they've never come my way. Now they are coming to London in January for only 2 weeks - exactly the weeks during which I'll have exams! Plus you can't really say their prices are student-friendly at 70 bucks a piece.
Guss I'll have to catch them next time.
Great review and congrats for your appointment on sports & outdoors.

I agree! (Reply to this comment)

I saw the first Cirque show in a big tent on the beach at Santa Monica about 15 years ago and was agog. Then I had the pleasure of seeing both Mystere and O in Las Vegas. The former was better than the latter, to my way of thinking - there are only so many ways to get into or out of a tank of water - but all of it is mind-boggling and I came away convinced that some people are born with muscle where their bones ought to be.
Thanks for an evocative review.

I saw this in November and wanted to review it but short of taking notes while I was watching it (and my husband would not have been too happy) I just couldn't get my thoughts together on it. Glad to see you could! jo

Putting these guys to shame (Reply to this comment)

(LOL)...although she COULD be a clown! This bringas back some great memories for me. I had some Cirque du Soleil people in my prenatal class once, and was just delighted with them. One special patient was pregnant, and working for her doctorate at the same time, while working as a choreographer for the show. Her husband was one of the clowns, and came in when she was delivering in full makeup.
What a wonderful celebratory contribution! This is really starting to feel like a party! Jude

Pam, can you believe I have never seen this. (Reply to this comment)

We are spoiled with the show at SeaWorld and Busch Gardens. This much shorter show is included with our 2 year ticket for both attractions. Just $159.
Sounds wonderful, but I must be cheap, or a senior, and love the bargains.
Great review.
Susie.
