Pros: Inexpensive, lightweight, cheap, holds 2.
Cons: Not thick, not comfy, noisy, a pain in the neck, literally.
The Bottom Line: It's definitely no Beautyrest, but its usable. I'd probably buy this again if I had the choice, for the functionality, not the comfort.

| tkdrifto's Full Review: Coleman Queen Air Mattress with Pump |
I bought this bed so that when me and my girlfriend go to my parents house, we wouldn't have to sleep in two separate areas. (IE-couch and bed.) I don't have long term experience with this, but we took it out of the box yesterday, put batteries into the pump and inflated the mattress. It took about 5 minutes to fill up with the portable pump. Of course, the pump filled the mattress, but I kinda felt that the mattress could've been a little more inflated. Considering I didn't want to invest in another $15-$20 for their plug in model, it was fine.
First thing, it beats sleeping on the floor. I also like the fact that the air didn't leak out due to its inner sealing mechanism. It's inexpensive, lightweight and portable...folds out easy and easy to pack away. I also liked that it supported both myself and my girlfriend's weight. Side note: I am not a big person but I weight about 200 lbs and my girlfriend weighs about 130lbs. It's roomy enough to have two people sleep on opposite sides of each other at the same time allows cuddling in the middle.
Unfortunately the mattress wasn't that much off the ground. It stated 8 inches, but when I would roll off the bed the bed would crimp up and my behind would be nearly touching the floor. It wasn't as soft as we would have liked it to be. I remedied it by placing my sister's memory foam topper from her old bed onto this and it made it okay. The bed states that it is a queen sized bed, but the topper we used was for a full sized bed. The topper almost fit perfectly except for about 2 inches out on one side. Another thing was that if you would move on the bed, it is noisy. On several cases, my girlfriend woke up in the middle of the night due to my movement. We used memory foam pillows and both of us woke up with stiff necks in the morning. The thing that got to me was when my girlfriend was sleeping near the edge, I thought it was funny to plop on the bed, which sent her flying off the bed. I thought it was funny, but I'm sure if we were married, I'd be making the couch my permanent residence in the evening.
In conclusion, the Coleman mattress is usable for sleeping, but not for the long term. If you need an extra bed for guest that will sleep over for a night or two, it'd be cool. But if you are planning to use it for a long while, you might need to see your chiropractor.
