Pros: Inflates itself, comfortable while it lasts
Cons: Self-deflating, sucks up battery power
The Bottom Line: The mattress is incredibly comfortable for a short period of time but does not stand up to any weight and needs constant re-inflating

| MamaSaid's Full Review: Coleman self-inflating camp mattress |
My family loves to camp and Coleman is the gear we trust over the years. Therefore, when I was pregnant the first time and my husband and I wanted to continue with our annual camp trip plans, it was a simple choice which mattress we would purchase. Coleman had never let us down and we were sure this would be the comfortable, durable solution to sound sleep.
Not the case. Although the mattress was soft and easy to sleep on, airs oozes out at a slow, steady pace leaving you with a deflated, uncomfortable mattress. I feared it was my heavier pregnany weight (still under 170 pounds) and allowed my husband to use it on his own on the next camp trip he went on with the guys. Same situation. Constant inflating was required and the battery would be sapped of energy within a couple of inflates.
Overall, we were disappointed with this purchase and have since purchased a camper so we no longer require this mattress. However, if we had not found a camper, we would have sought to replace this item because it simply does not do the job you need it to do. Sorry Coleman - why not make some improvements?
