After almost 4 years with a Compaq 400 Mhz laptop it was now time to upgrade. I was happy with my former unit but its capacity was maxed out completely. I was at the point of deleting much needed software just to get by. Well after shopping around, the best deal to be had was at Amazon seeing no sales tax and $200 of rebates. At $1099 after rebates the 910US (a 900US with few more options) is probably the best deal around for a top notch laptop! AMD 1300 Mhz, 30 gig drive, 256 Meg RAM, DVD and CDRW! Fit and finish are excellent with smooth working software and Windows XP Home. The only problem I noticed was a clash with my HP USB printer. This is probably a XP problem and was corrected by going parallel interface on the same printer. The screen is bright and crisp, sound is clear and powerful. I hope to get several good years from this unit and am off to a good start!
