Love hot sticks! (Reply to this comment)
by amanda87_05
I go to a lot of concerts and I love to have my hair rolled especially if I have a m&g with the artist or know that I have a good chance of meeting them. I love for my hair to look pretty in the pictures haha. I've used the hot sticks for several years and usually have my Momma do it for me and I'll sleep in them and keep them in the next day as long as I can so it won't lose much body. Everyone always goes on how pretty my hair looks, and I just love the results! I've tried doing it myself, but it's not that easy for me because it's hard to see what all I'm doing. But I highly recommend them too!

had my set for about 20 years (Reply to this comment)
by soleluna
My daddy bought my set for my grandmother as a present when I was about ten years old. When she left to go to Italy, fearing that she could not use them there for the electricity and the plugs are different, she left them to me. I still have the same set. The unit still works as it did the first time. Its seen hair do for middle school dances to high school homecoming and prom to my first date to my sister in laws wedding. My friend had a baby shower and a couple of girls were commenting on my hair... so I wanted to find a picture to show her and stumbled upon this website. I've had hair usually waist length and it keeps a curl still for three days. I won't use any other way of curling my hair.

Re: I'll try them! (Reply to this comment)

Thank you for giving me these reviews! I've been learning how to get curly hair and straight hair whenever I feel like it, but a curling iron takes too long and I have to sleep in curlers, which I don't like. Well, I'll try HotStix! Thanks again!

Great review.. I was shopping in Wal-Mart last night and looked over a few products. I have extremely thick hair with tons of body, but it never wants to do what I want it to do..
So I'll have to try these!
Thanks again

They are good! (Reply to this comment)

I agree with you Donna, for curly locks, this product is top notch! I love them, they are easy to use, and much more comfortable to sleep in than traditional hot curlers. (Yes...I sleep in them sometimes, it makes the curl last longer!)
Only problem I have was that there isn't enough sticks in the unit. I guess that's actually MY problem, not Conair's...because I have such THICK hair...(NOT an exaggeration...imagine a lion's mane after going through the fluff cycle of a dryer...yep...that's me in a nutshell!)
Hasn't been a problem though, since these hot sticks are very affordable, I ended up buying two units. Much easier than doing half my hair and then doing the other half later...
Anyway, thanks for a great review Donna. I especially enjoy how well laid out your reviews are. :o)
Best wishes,
Val
