| jbsassypants's Full Review: Coppertone Sport Ultra Sweatproof Dry Lotion |
Coppertone Sport Ultra might be the best all-purpose sunscreen on the market. Based on my experience, if I had room for only one suncreen bottle in my house for the whole family to use, Coppertone Sport Ultra would be it.
It goes on easily and smoothly without clumping or feeling greasy. My husband says it goes on easily through his body hair. It does not leave your hands overly oily, so you don't have that feeling of needing to wipe of your hands before you touch anything. It really is sweatproof and waterproof for hours. I can put it on any part of my body and be assured that I will have adequate protection and no skin irritation. It is hypoallergenic and has no PABA.
Sometimes I lay out nude and I need coverage for my nether regions. Occasionally I'll surprise hubby and remove all the hair down there. This makes using a good sunscreen vital when laying out nude. My kids use this sunscreen all the time all over their bodies and never had a reaction so I tried it on my denuded cootchie. Not wanting to be too risky, I was careful not to get any on the inside. But I did carefully rub small amounts all up and down on the outside. I suggest you allow plenty of time and apply the suncreen with your "wrong" hand...for the process of applying sunsreen in this way might require a detour to the inside with your "good" hand. After an unplanned, yet rigorous, field test, I found this sunsreen is not only waterproof and sweatproof, it also is natural lubricant proof. Even though the sunsreen was covered almost immediately by my own liquid...it didn't run and did not loose its effectiveness.
My husband likes this sunscreen because he can use it on his forehead. When he gets hot the sweat just rolls out of him, and he claims this is the first sunscreen that doesn't run into his eyes.
We have found that we can be out for hours with only a morning application and have good protection, no matter if we're working, golfing, swimming, or ... laying out thinking about sexy celebrities.
It is available in SPF 15, 30 and 45 at most stores. It also comes in a spray version, which protects as well. However, I find it hard to ensure good coverage with the spray type of sunscreen. Wal-Mart even carries this sunscreen in very small bottles with a sturdy clip, useful for attaching to backpacks, belt loops etc.
I found it for about $6 at Wal-Mart.
