I don't know about you. But here it is the middle of February and I am thinking of summer. I just can't wait. When my mind begins to wander toward those hot summer months, I begin to think about Sun Protection.
We put a pool in our backyard 2 years ago and began our search for a good sun protection product for husband and I. I had used Coppertone products growing up and didn't realize just how much they had changed. I was given a bottle of Coppertone Sport Ultra Sweatproof Dry Lotion by a friend who had told me how great it worked for her. I decided to try it and now I am so glad that I did.
Living in Texas and setting around the pool the first thing you will notice is sweat. When I began to sweat most of the sun protection products I used, would just run off, drip in my eyes and I found myself always reapplying. Upon trying Coppertone Sport I found that sweat even when its 100 degrees outside with 90% humidity, the lotion stayed on. No burning eyes, no white lotion running off my body, this lotion stayed put.
What is Great About This Product
1. Ultra Sweatproof - Believe me they mean what they say. It really will stay put in the heat and humidity.
2. Waterproof - This is wonderful for us as we use this product around our pool and are jumping in and out just to cool off.
3. Dries Fast - This lotion dries quicker than any I have found. It seems to be absorbed into the skin almost on contact. You don't feel or look greasy as with most Sun Protection products.
4. Sunburn Protection - I have yet to burn with this product on out by the pool. Texas heat and humidity will normally take its toll on your sun protection, but not Coppertone Ultra Sweatproof Lotion. Once you put it on it stays on.
How I Use It!
I use this product as soon as I get to the pool. It is the first thing I put on my skin. In the early summer I use the higher SPF 30 that they offer in this lotion. As I begin to tan, I step down to the 15 SPF lotion. Apply it generously to your skin and rub it in. It will absorb quickly and you are ready for your afternoon in the sun. I do reapply every couple of hours just to be sure I keep the protection on at its best level.
Final Thought
My final thoughts on this product are that Coppertone Ultra Sweatproof Lotion does what it says it will do. I recommend this product for adults who are looking for something that will stay on longer, work when you sweat and that want to pay for a product that does what it says.
So, go ahead take the challenge. Rub on some Coppertone and go out in the heat and see if you aren't as happy with this product as I am. It is now the only sun protection this mom uses!
