Pros: Great for acid reflux, aches and pains of aging and leg and circulation problems.
Cons: It is expensive. Heavy to move.
The Bottom Line: We love to travel but always want to get home to our bed. It's better than any bed at friends/relatives and better than even the best hotels.

| amm87's Full Review: Craftmatic Craftmatic Model 1 Mattress |
We have owned a Craftmatic bed for 18 years and love it! We actually got it when I was pregnant and having very bad heartburn and swelling of the ankles. It was great to be able to sit in bed at the end of the day and put the head and feet up and watch tv while relieving the swelling in my legs. The other thing it helps very much is my acid reflux problem. My cousin has the same problem and sleeps with the head of her beds legs propped up on books. This isn't very safe or very comfortable. My husband loves the bed as well. He had hernia surgery and the bed made it so much easier to recuperate. The bed was expensive but we love the bed so much we know that we'll never need to buy another bed so when you calculate how much it cost us over 18 years it really is very inexpensive. The salesman who sold us the bed was a very nice man and we had no problems with him at all. We've had to replace the mattress once and the new technology in the mattress made it more comfortable than the original. I would recommend buying it if you have a need. You'll be glad you did.
