Yeah, I remember that one too (''Sudden Impact''). In the opening scene one of the policeman was eating a hot dog with ketchup on it while looking over the victim's injuries. A little too heavy-handed. -Dave

I thought the one with Eastwood paramour Sondra Locke shooting gentlemen in the cojones was worse than this one but only just. Thanks for doing this one justice, bud! ;>

''Make my Day'' was from the 1983 movie according to IMDB.com website. Maybe you're thinking of this phrase from the first film in the series:
