Oh yes...the lure of heading "down south" is really getting to me. I want to be there--I really, really do--however I can't make any plans this summer I'm not willing to break. Actually, come to think of it I am forced into that corner all year.
Like I said, I am being vague and I know it.
Danger Mouse. Oh yes. However, I much prefer Mighty Mouse.

I think it's perfect that a band of cartoons hires Danger Mouse to work with. Next i want to see their collaborations with Elmer Fudd, Itchy, Scratchy, and especially -- given their love of gadgets -- Wile E. Coyote.
I also think it's perfect that they have a youth choir; although "Kids with Guns" is the song that should've used them. Kid choruses can be creepy, after all, especially during McDonald's ads.
I'm hoping you surprise yourself and find freedom to visit Greensboro after all. Too few people dance like monkey-girls around here, and i seem to be too male to serve as inspiration.
cheers,
- Brian

I have to say this is the first album of '05 to really hit me.
As I loved Blur's Think Tank, to me I think this album is an extension of those ideas, although of course the basic musical style is slightly different.
Nice job Shelly
