Hi everyone,
I had purchased this card in November, thinking that it's the only PCI card with 32mb. Well, when I installed the card all of my games would crash and nothing seemed to work. However, Don't return this card if you have this problem. The problem is with the drivers included with this card. You should download the newest drivers from http://www.diamondmm.com . After I installed the new drivers all of d3d application worked fine! But there are still drawback of this card. First the OpenGL support is not available since diamond still hasn't released the drivers to support this feature. Second, the Direct 3D is the only thing that works fine. If you use this card for games, return this card! Go buy V3 3000 PCI or V3 2000 PCI. If you use it for business apps then you should keep it, the price is also much better compared to other cards. Don't let the card's 32MB fool you. I bought 3dfx's v3 2000 PCI and the graphics are same, if not better. Also the 3dfx's voodoo3 comes with glide support which is far better than direct 3d. One last thing, if you have AGP slot available by all means get agp version of video card.
